Totems

The totem poles pictured here were carved out of Western red cedar by Tlingit Master Carver Israel Shotridge. Israel has carved dozens of monumental totem poles over the past 25+ years for public, corporate and private collections all over the world. Pictured here are a few examples of both historic tribal totems which Israel was commissioned to replicate specifically for his tribe or another tribe as well as totems that were commissioned for public or a private collections. Israel accepts totem pole commissions on a limited basis. Commissioned totem poles are priced by the foot. The price per foot reflects the complexity of the design and whether the pole is to be painted or left unpainted or whether it will include inlays (Abalone shell or wood). There are additional costs for the red cedar tree, wood delivery, crating and shipping. Customized payment schedules will be establsihed.
